Hearthside

Hearthside is a Craftsman-style architecture neighborhood nestled in the east Ventura community of Saticoy. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. collaborated with the Darling Dwellings builder, a native of Ventura, to create a community of 48 condominiums with extensive common gardens that provide walkable green space and enjoyable community areas including a central fireplace, barbeque area, and picnic tables. Hearthside is designed to be an environmentally friendly community. With low energy consumption and responsible water treatment, Hearthside surpasses California’s standards for sustainability on many levels. JDS was involved from the inception of the project with surveying, planning and then designing and building the community. JDS developed the water and sewage system, designed road improvements, created and provided 3D images and video models of the project, and monitored the entire process with drone photography.
