Rancho Temescal Equestrian Center

Rancho Temescal is a 6,000-acre state-of-the-art working Thoroughbred Farm situated along Piru Creek just below Lake Piru in Ventura County, California. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. provided entitlement permitting for the full-service facility to host rodeo events and provide horse training. The Thoroughbred Farm consists of two ranch worker dwellings, stables, a training track, two arenas, livestock holding pens, a ranch office, and courtyard. JDS provided design, preliminary grading and drainage, and survey work including an aerial and boundary survey and construction staking for the Thoroughbred Farm and various projects on the ranch property. JDS also assisted Rancho Temescal with obtaining California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Streambed Alteration Agreements due to Piru Creek bisecting the property.
