This project was the new Ventura County Public Works service yard facility located on Wells Road in Saticoy, adjacent to the Santa Clara River. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. was the project engineer for this design-build project and worked with the County’s peer review consultant. The project required regular progress meetings with the contractor, County of Ventura, the objective peer reviewer, and other regulatory officials.

We worked with Ventura County throughout the entitlement approval process, and prepared improvement plans, including grading, drainage, wet utilities, and also provided construction survey and staking services. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. was nominated and awarded the “Project of the Year” Award by Engineers Week in 2007 for outstanding work. This project was nominated by the American Public Works Association (APWA).
