Ojai Valley Inn

The award-winning Ojai Valley Inn offers its resort guests access to a legendary golf course, 31,000 square foot Spa Village, Artist Cottage & Apothecary, apiary and immersive beekeeping experience, The Farmhouse at Ojai, multiple pools and seven unique dining outlets all on one 220-acre property in Ojai, California. Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. was involved in designing the Oak Grill Terrace, remodeling of the Tennis Center, and The Spa at the Ojai Valley Inn. JDS overcame significant site constraints from a creek, existing golf activities, and native oak trees during construction of the spa. Our work also included remodeling the main entrance and drop off area which required scheduling around the daily activities of an active luxury resort. The assignment required sensitivity to preserving native oak trees and local flavor while maintaining Wallace Neff’s original Spanish Colonial architectural design for the Inn.
