GREAT Waterline Pipeline Project
Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. worked closely with the City of Oxnard as their Construction Management team of choice to provide assistance on Phases 1 and 2 of the GREAT recycled water pipeline project. A primary goal of the project was to provide a new source of water to various water agencies in the area and end users. JDS managed the engineering design development for over 20,000 linear feet of recycled water pipe in Hueneme Road and our firm collaborated and negotiated with agricultural end users, including four water agencies and five individual landowners, to receive a reliable new recycled water source in the Oxnard Plain. Over the course of the project, JDS organized and tracked project communications, responded to RFIs dealing with construction issues and design plans, documented and inspected construction progress, and provided oversight for the Phase 1 GREAT Pipeline project. JDS also performed change orders to the City’s construction documents as construction issues arose.
