Limoneira Company has been a staple in Ventura County since 1893 and has since become a global stand-out in agricultural production and business. For the last decade or more, Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. has assisted Limoneira with various engineering, surveying, and land use permitting projects as they have grown and diversified their business and infrastructure needs. Some projects include progressive solutions towards more sustainable operations including their installation of a Solar Orchard (an onsite, one megawatt solar power facility) and a Cold Storage facility within their existing Headquarters facility.

We have provided design, survey, and permitting for an expansion of their existing farmworker housing – a 74-unit development – which has helped Limoneira further provide long-term housing options for the their employees and keep the company viable in its operation in Ventura County. We have provided land use entitlement services helping them secure Conditional Use Permits for their Agricultural Promotional and Temporary Outdoor Events. This is a component of their business which benefits the community and includes agri-tourism activities such as hot air balloon rides, ranch tours, Packing House tours, Solar Orchard tours, bicycle tours, gourmet dinners in the orchards, chuck wagon lunches, and weddings and fundraisers at their corporate headquarters.
