SCVWA – Magic Mountain Tank #2

Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. provided engineering services for the design and construction of a 4.1-million-gallon welded steel potable water tank for Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency (SCVWA). The work included in-house design of the all required appurtenances to meet SCVWA and AWWA-M42 requirements.  Site design was made difficult by limited space and the need to integrate the proposed tank design with the existing Tank #1. JDS also prepared the project specifications for the welded steel tank and was in charge of the sub-consulting electrical and structural engineers. After the design stage, JDS was involved in the construction phase of the project from day one and continued providing construction services until the tank was online and accepted by SCVWA.
