Veterans Affairs (VA) Facilities

Jensen Design & Survey, Inc. was proud to provide planning and engineering services to the recently completed Veteran Affairs Clinic in Ventura, California. The project provides much needed state of the art medical facilities for Ventura area veterans, without the need to drive to the Los Angeles for services. JDS lead entitlement efforts on the project by preparing application materials and moving the project through the City of Ventura’s process, including review by the Design Review Committee, Planning Commission, and City Council. Once entitled, JDS worked with the design-build team to permit the grading, utilities, and stormwater post-construction BMPs.

JDS is also providing engineering services for the Veteran Affairs Greater Los Angeles Health Care Facility. We have already assisted in the design and construction of two long term affordable housing buildings and currently working on the site improvements for a third.
